The hydraulic pump pulley in a Komatsu engine is connected to the hydraulic pump and transmits power from the combustion engine to the hydraulic pump. Using a belt system, the hydraulic pulley drives the hydraulic pump. This is used in medium-sized excavators, such as the SAA6D107 model. Larger machines, such as the SAA12V140 model, utilize more advanced systems where the hydraulic pulley works with gears. In smaller construction machines, such as the SAA4D95 model, lightweight hydraulic pulleys drive a hydraulic pump operating under moderate loads.
