EXHAUST MANIFOLD

The exhaust manifold in the Komatsu engine directs exhaust gases to the turbine, which increases the pressure in the intake system. The exhaust manifold, in addition to its exhaust gas removal function, also helps reduce engine noise and increases its efficiency. Due to their design, there are two types of engines: a single-piece manifold - used mainly in small engines, and a multi-piece manifold used most often in larger engines, it consists of segments, which makes it easier to assemble and disassemble.
