The Perkins long block engine, also known as the Long block, is not yet a complete engine ready for assembly, but an engine assembly containing more elements than a short block. The Perkins long block engine includes: engine block, connecting rods, pistons, main bearings, connecting rod bearings, thrust rings, shaft. camshaft, engine head, intake valves, exhaust valves, engine keyboard, various types of gaskets needed for engine assembly. Perkins engine models containing a long block are: 404D-22, 404F-22T, 804D-33, 1004-4, 1006-6, 1103D-33, 1104D-44T, 1106D-E66TA,1204F-E44TA, 1206F-E70TTA.
